AirType does not collect, store or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
What happens to what you type
What you type, and your touchpad moves, go only from your iPhone to your own computer, Mac or TV, over Bluetooth or your home Wi-Fi. Nothing is sent to us or to any server on the internet.
What stays on your iPhone
Your settings, saved devices, phrases, drafts and typing history are stored only on your iPhone. You can delete them in the app at any time, or by deleting the app.
Permissions
- Bluetooth: used only to act as a keyboard and mouse for the device you pair with.
- Local network: used only to find and talk to the AirType helper on your own PC (Wi-Fi mode).
Children
AirType collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
